"Tools for Effective Communications/ Developing an Outbound Sales Strategy No Matter What Your Profession."

Hello Everyone,

We are in the winter months, so if the Hopkinton schools are cancelled on the day of our meeting then we do not meet; however, if there is a delay, then we do meet. Even if the schools are not closed, if the weather is bad, it is best to stay home then risk an accident. Here is the link to see whether the Hopkinton schools are closed: http://www.hopkinton.k12.ma.us/

The agenda for this Friday's Hopkinton Networkers Group (HNG) meeting will be featured by a speaker, Ray Mascola. There will also be a brief 5 - 8 minute talk by Bob King, a representative for Renewal by Andersen in Northborough, who is looking for people with a desire to work part-time at trade shows on weekends. The facilitator for this week will be Ronaldo Lu. We will devote the first hour to the following agenda: Welcome, Landings, Announcements, New Member Intros, and Needs & Leads. Important Note: Please make a serious, concerted effort to arrive before 10:00 AM. We are going to start the meeting on time at 10:00 AM. In the second hour, Bob will give his brief talk, then Ray will talk about "Tools for Effective Communications/ Developing an Outbound Sales Strategy No Matter What Your Profession."

Tools for Effective Communications/ Developing an Outbound Sales Strategy No Matter What Your Profession

Ray will discuss the approach of using open-ended questions, with empathetic listing, as an effective strategy for relationship building. In addition, when we are networking as job seekers, we are all in sales. He will discuss this mindset and how to use it in your search.

Ray Mascola

As a sales strategist, Ray helps companies pinpoint how their products and services impact their customers’ businesses.

Then, we work together to develop a strategic plan and a go-to-market campaign with a clear message that describes how my client will help their customers’
businesses.

Targeting Sales Growth is a business development consulting practice. We help start-up to $10m companies get to their next level of sales growth. Previously,
he worked in sales management in the corporate world for several soft companies.

He also coaches individuals, helping them with their strategy and a plan to connect with decision-makers of their targeted companies.

Renewal by Andersen Part-time Work

Bob King will give a brief talk on work available for people with a desire to work part-time at trade shows on weekends. Most events are one or two weekend days,
but there are some events that will span three, four, or five days. The agricultural fairs are often multiple weeks. Events start to ramp up this month, and there are
events of various types throughout the year. The hours of events vary widely, but are often in the 10 AM to 10 PM range. Typically, an individual would work a
6-hour shift at a 12-hour event. If an individual was only available to work one weekend day, we could accommodate such a schedule. This gives you an idea
of the scope of this opportunity.
